No — you can book a physiotherapist in Richmond directly for private appointments. A referral is only needed if you're claiming under a Medicare EPC / Chronic Disease Management plan.

Fees, Private Health & Medicare
Yes. If your extras cover includes physiotherapy, you can claim on the spot with our HICAPS terminal and only pay the gap.
Yes. If your GP has set up an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) / Chronic Disease Management plan, we accept these referrals — bring the paperwork from your GP to your appointment.

What to Expect
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in, and bring any relevant scans, referrals or your private health / Medicare details. Most importantly, bring your goals — we'll build the plan around them.
We discuss your history and goals, assess your movement and strength, and explain what's going on. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis and the first steps of a progressive-loading plan.
